American Industrial Transport, Inc. (AITX) appoints Texas Howard as President and elevates Kurt Higginbotham to CEO. Also, Duos Technologies names Matt Keepman as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, a newly created role.

Duos Technologies, Inc., on Oct. 4 reported that it is expanding its business to build, own and operate Subscription RIPs (railcar inspection portals) along the North American rail network.

Duos Technologies, Inc., will provide subscribing railcar owners with near real-time data from railcar inspection portals (RIPs) that it builds, owns and operates at strategic North American locations. Also, HARTING selects TTI, Inc., as a distributor of its industrial connectivity products; and Honda recognizes third-party logistics provider Road & Rail Services, LLC (R&RS).

Amtrak Awards Duos $9MM Railcar Inspection Contract

Duos Technologies Group will provide Amtrak with two automated railcar inspection portals under an approximately $9 million contract, with installation expected to begin later this year.

CSX Expanding Automated Railcar Inspection

CSX will add to its network a third automated railcar inspection portal from Duos Technologies by the end of second-quarter 2022, the supplier reported on Dec. 16.

Additionally, engineering software firm Bentley Systems, Inc., has established Virtuosity to combine subscriptions to Bentley applications, such as OpenRail, with training and expert services.
