Chinese rail company selects Maxwell as energy storage supplier

Maxwell Technologies, Inc., a U.S. developer and manufacturer of ultracapacitor-based energy storage solutions has signed a long-term strategic partnership agreement with China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC-SRI, formerly CNR-SRI), a subsidiary of CRRC, and one of the largest rail vehicle manufacturers in the world, the company announced on July 30, 2015.
