The Chicago South Shore & South Bend Railroad (CSS) has added 100 covered steel coil cars to support the shipping needs of Burns Harbor, Ind.-based ArcelorMittal, its largest customer. CIT Rail is leasing the 100-ton-capacity cars to CSS.
Todd Bjornstad, formerly the General Manager of the Rapid City, Pierre & Eastern Railroad (RCP&E), has been named President of the Chicago South Shore & South Bend Railroad Company (CSS), effective March 1, 2016. He will succeed Andrew C. Fox.
