Keeping on Top of Track Conditions from Down Under with ODIN

When it comes to safety at BNSF, there are many layers, starting from the ground up. Our Engineering team makes sure that our railroad track and all its components—roadbed, ballast, crossties, spikes, rail and more—are well maintained and dependable.

Canadian Pacific (CP) has donated $124,000 to support heart health in Alberta through its Clear Rounds for Heart initiative. Also, CSX and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) have earned an engineering excellence award from the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA).

Four Railroaders Earn Environmental Achievement Awards (UPDATED)

Railroad Environmental Conference organizers recognized Norfolk Southern’s Josh Raglin, Union Pacific’s Christi Hornick and Association of American Railroads’ Robert Fronczak with Career Environmental Achievement awards, and NS’ Robert Scoble with the Professional Environmental Excellence Award at their 2021 virtual event, held Oct. 26-27.

The organizers of Railway Interchange announced March 4 that the largest Rail Industry Conference and Exhibition in North America will be postponed until 2023.

Organizers for Railway Interchange 2015, held in Minneapolis, Minn. on Oct. 4-7, 2015, announced today that total registered attendance for the USA-based combined exhibition and technical conference reached 9,571, a new record.
