WSP Hires Zero Emissions Leader for Transit, Rail

Dana Lowell is joining WSP USA as Zero Emission (ZE) Senior Technical Advisor.

In his new role, Lowell will be responsible for helping WSP deliver zero emissions initiatives; collaborating with the firm’s global rail network to share international best practices; recruiting ZE specialists; conducting technical reviews of current initiatives; and working with the firm’s Transit and Rail Market and Practice Leaders.

Lowell served most recently as Senior Vice President at M.J. Bradley & Associates, an environmental consultancy and ERM Group Company, where he led the Advanced Vehicle Technology Group. He has also worked in MTA New York City Transit’s Department of Buses.

“Striving to remain a leader in the delivery of zero emission transportation solutions, WSP is excited to have Dana join our Transit and Rail business ZE team,” WSP Deputy National Transit and Rail Market Leader Frank Banko said. “Dana will bring his decades of experience and passion for advanced vehicle technologies, with a focus on alternative fuels, advanced hybrid, battery electric, and fuel cell electric drive systems.”
