Support the APTF fundraising drive

The American Public Transportation Foundation, which provides scholarships for young professionals pursuing careers in public transportation, is in the midst of a fundraising drive. APTF’s goal is to raise $5,000 during the month of February.

“We face a critical shortage of skilled and seasoned employees as thousands of workers from the Baby Boom generation near retirement” says 2008/2009 APTF Chair Robert H. Prince, Jr. “We need to provide incentives to attract the best of the best of our emerging talent. A 2009 Champion gift will help achieve that goal, which in turn will help us plan for a healthy, vibrant workforce. Please champion the effort to ensure the future of our industry.”
