WSP-Parsons Brinckerhoff taps Hamm for Second Avenue Subway

Delano Hamm has been named a supervising technical specialist in the New York City office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, with responsibility for overseeing and expediting changes to construction contracts on the Second Avenue Subway project on behalf of MTA Capital Construction.

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff provides construction management services for the Second Avenue Subway project. Hamm’s duties include obtaining contract change information from the contractor and client, reviewing, making recommendations and coordinating all aspects of the change order process, and supervising related staff.

Hamm comes to WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff following 23 years with MTA Bridges and Tunnels, most recently serving as Director, Core Capital Procurement, responsible for contract oversight of construction and design-build projects. He also served as manager of the Triborough complex, providing oversight for all of the agency’s contract managers. Previously, Hamm was a contract administrator with MTA Metro-North Railroad, where he managed contracts for construction, professional engineering and architectural services.
