SEPTA tour caps Railway Age/RT&S Light Rail conference
Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-ChiefFollowing the Railway Age/Railway Track & Structures Light Rail Conference held April 27-28 in Philadelphia, about 30 delegates toured portions of the SEPTA streetcar and light rail networks.
The tour included streetcar Line 13, the Norristown High Speed Line (former Philadelphia & Western) and the shop where SEPTA maintains the PCC2 cars used on the Girard Avenue (15) Line. These cars were restored and modernized by Brookville Equipment Corp.
