Robert Kennah, P.E., has joined HNTB Corp. as Project Director, based in the infrastructure firm’s Houston office. He has more than 23 years of engineering and project management experience.

Kennah will be responsible for managing and delivering major projects, maintaining client relationships and working to expand HNTB’s services to its regional transit clients.

Prior to joining HNTB, Kennah served as principal project manager for consulting firm HDR. Throughout his career, he has managed transit projects across the country, including light rail, automated-people movers, and terminal and station modeling.

Kennah holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming. A graduate of the Leadership APTA Class of 2018, he is involved in numerous industry associations, including ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), APTA (American Public Transportation Association) and several streetcar coalitions.

“Robert has a strong background in delivering complex transit projects throughout the country through multiple delivery methods,” said Mike Voinis, P.E., HNTB Houston office leader and Vice President. “He has a clear passion for transit and all it can offer to a robust transportation system.”
