KBC Adds Moore, Simms to Leadership Team
Written by Marybeth Luczak, Executive EditorDiane Moore and Kevin Simms have been appointed Senior Director-Human Resources and Vice President-Sales and Marketing, respectively, at Knorr Brake Co. (KBC), a brake, door and HVAC system manufacturer for the rail transit industry.
Moore has nearly 30 years of human resources experience, including 19 years at KBC sister company New York Air Brake LLC. She served most recently as Vice President, Human Resources at Anaren Microwave Inc.
A 25-year rail industry veteran, Simms is rejoining KBC, and will now be responsible for leading sales and marketing strategy, including sales team oversight; developing new business opportunities; and creating customized solutions for customers. Prior to service as Senior Consultant at Hatch LTK and Managing Director, North America at Voith Turbo Inc., Simms served for 10 years in progressive sales and business development roles at KBC, and for four years as a North America Liaison and Key Account Manager for the European-based Rail Division of Knorr-Bremse, the parent company of KBC.
