VHB adds four to its Transit & Rail team

VHB has added four new employees to its Transit & Rail practice in order to better serve clients in metropolitan areas along the East Coast, including Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, the firm announced on July 23, 2015.

David Wilcock, PE, rejoins the firm’s Transit and Rail team in Boston as National Director to build upon its strong track record of successfully taking clients through the complex processes from funding to initial planning, NEPA documentation and operational analysis efforts through final design, construction and revenue service. His extensive experience encompasses all transit and rail modes – intercity passenger and commuter rail, freight rail, light rail, subway/elevated rapid transit, bus and bus rapid transit. Anthony Pincherri, PE, joins the firm as Senior Manager, Transit and Rail in New York City. Pincherri offers clients extensive experience in rail operations analysis and simulation modeling of multiple rail infrastructure planning projects on the Northeast Corridor throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. He has managed various major and complex service planning and infrastructure projects involving the evaluation of existing and future service plans, operating plans, and timetables, with regard to changes in service volume, construction outages, frequency and stopping patterns leading to capacity improvements; implementation; and construction of rail capital initiatives.

Mark McClintock, PE, LEED AP, joins VHB as Director of Engineering, Transit & Rail in Tysons, Virginia. McClintock is a transit and rail engineer and leader who is dedicated to managing and building teams to help clients solve complex challenges. His extensive knowledge includes all aspects of rail transit design including systems, stations and wayside facilities, yards and shops, civil and right-of-way, and environmental compliance.

Grady Smith, Director of Southeast Transit & Rail, recently joined VHB as part of its acquisition of Mark McClintockGMB. Smith’s transit and rail experience encompasses both the public and private sectors serving as project manager on numerous transportation planning studies. He has led transit system expansion corridor studies/NEPA for transit properties throughout the Southeast seeking FTA New Starts funding, including high-priority transit initiatives for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority. He also has experience in planning and implementation strategies for Bus Rapid Transit and enhanced arterial bus corridors programs. Grady served as senior advisor to Metropolitan Planning Organizations and transit agencies on regional Grady Smithtransit governance strategies, fare collection policies, and interagency agreements.
