A fare deal for Acela Express customers
Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-ChiefAcela Express fares up to 25% lower than the lowest previous fares are available now for travel between March 3 and June 26, Amtrak announced Tuesday.
This means that business class tickets will cost as little as $99 between Washington and New York and $79 between New York and Boston. A limited supply of the discount tickets will be available, and purchase must be made at least 14 days in advance of travel. Tickets are one-way and non-refundable, but may be exchanged.
Previously, the lowest Acela far was $133 New York to Washington and $93 New York to Boston.
