The San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) is offering a new regional mobile ticketing and fare payment system for riders across seven transit systems in California’s Central Valley.

The system, EZHub from Masabi, will allow riders to use the Vamos Mobility App from Kyyti to plan trips, get real-time information and purchase tickets for Altamont Corridor Express commuter rail and San Joaquin Regional Transit District, Manteca Transit, Tracer, eTrans, GrapeLine and City of Ripon bus services.

SJCOG—a joint powers authority comprising the county of San Joaquin and the cities of Stockton, Lodi, Manteca, Tracy, Ripon, Escalon and Lathrop—selected Masabi for EZHub, which is powered by its “cloud-native and multi-tenant Fare Payments-as-a-Service platform, Justride.”

“From now on, not only will people be able to buy their tickets at any time, anywhere, but that ticket will take them wherever they want to go in San Joaquin County, saving the hassle of keeping track of multiple tickets, schedules and services across different agencies,” SJCOG Deputy Director Diane Nguyen said.
