WSP taps Otto for Midwest role

WSP USA (formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff) has named Agnes Otto Area Manager responsible for transportation and infrastructure operations in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Oklahoma. Responsible for strategic business growth across the four states plus Western Missouri and the Kansas City metropolitan area, she focuses on establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, expanding the firm’s presence in all markets and managing project performance.

Previously, Otto served as WSP’s director of integrated solutions, leading the firm’s efforts across a range of disciplines including planning, technology, public engagement, travel forecasting and design visualization. She also supported the strategic planning and development effort for the firm’s transportation and infrastructure group.

Prior to joining WSP in 2014, Otto had a 15-year career with HNTB, where she served in progressively responsible positions, most recently as Vice President for Strategy Management and Strategic Planning Officer.

Otto received a bachelor’s degree from Rockhurst University. She supports several professional organizations, including WTS International and the American Society of Civil Engineers. She has also served on Union Station Science City’s strategic planning committee, and provided pro bono strategic planning support for local nonprofits.
