RR Mergers Advises Platinum Track Services in Its Sale to GCF

RR Mergers & Acquisitions, advisor to rail service providers, supply companies and short line railroads, announced the sale of client Platinum Track Services to GCF Railway Works.

Platinum Track Services is a Canadian-based railroad construction and maintenance services company, specializing in railroad mainline tie replacement and rail relay programs. It is located in York, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto.

Headquartered in Rome, Italy, GCF – Generale Costruzioni Ferroviarie, S.p.A. operates in the railway infrastructure, electrification, and signaling and maintenance sector. With more than 60 years of operations and experience, GCF has consolidated its role in the Italian railway market and continues to strengthen its presence in eight European countries.

Through Platinum Track Services, GCF is expanding its services internationally, to Canada and throughout North America, according to RR Mergers. Edoardo Rossi, President of GCF stated: “We are extremely happy to welcome Platinum Track Services management, Matt Spoleti, Mike Sousa and team to GCF.”
