New executives have joined freight rail and transit car parts manufacturer Strato, Inc., and marine chassis provider and pool manager TRAC Intermodal.
Rocky Loessin is leading Strato’s sales and marketing team as Vice President. Among his responsibilities are the development of programs to enhance the customer experience, expansion into international markets, oversight of continued growth and innovation in Strato’s rail products and services, and contributions to overall marketing and business strategies, according to the Piscataway, N.J.-based company.
Loessin served previously as Vice President of Sales for TrinityRail and also held numerous roles at Kansas City Southern.
“Rocky brings a unique value to Strato having worked from both the car builder and railroad perspective in the rail industry,” Strato President Brian Cunkelman said. “His experience will further assist us in anticipating customer needs. We look forward to his leadership with Strato’s sales team.”
Laura Reeder is TRAC Intermodal’s newly appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With more than 15 years of HR leadership experience in both public and private companies, she most recently held the CHRO position at API Technologies Corporation, an electronic components manufacturer within the aerospace and defense industry.
