IntelliTrans’ Karen Howlett earns a Women in Supply Chain Award. Also, RATP Dev USA appoints a new CEO and Deputy CEO, and STV adds five transportation and infrastructure executives to its roster.

IntelliTrans Operations Manager Karen Howlett

IntelliTrans Operations Manager Karen Howlett is one of 234 recipients of the 2022 Women in Supply Chain Award from Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

According to the publication, the annual award honors “female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women at all levels of a company’s supply chain network.” This year’s winners include individuals from software and service providers, consultancies and academia, trucking and transportation firms, professional development agencies, sourcing and procurement divisions, and more.

Howlett was selected “because she is an exemplary leader of the IntelliTrans rail services (managed transportation) team, where she proactively manages the day-to-day logistics needs of customers,” reported IntelliTrans, a global provider of multi-modal supply chain and logistics solutions for bulk and break-bulk product manufacturers. Additionally, she “is deeply engaged with one of IntelliTrans’ largest customers and helps them to overcome challenges by automating transportation operations, including visibility into transportation management and managed transportation services to augment the workforce.”

“I am so proud of Karen for winning this award,” IntelliTrans President Ken Sherman said. “Karen thinks outside the box and drives value for our company, customers and team members.”

“This year, we received more than 280 submissions,” said Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. “Almost 100 of those submissions came from men. I’m so proud of everyone who participated, both men and women. I’m proud to call these women mentors, role models and industry friends. I’m proud to interview them, support them and help promote their journey.”

RATP Dev USA, the North American subsidiary of the global transportation provider, has named Cyril Aubin as CEO and Matt Booterbaugh as Deputy CEO.

Aubin, a RATP Group veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the transit industry, has moved to the U.S. from Hong Kong, where he served as Managing Director of Hong Kong Tramways, a heritage system with 55 million-plus riders annually.

Booterbaugh has become Deputy CEO, a newly created role slated to “ensure that everything impacting clients—from operations to customer relations to maintenance—is grouped together under one leader,” according to RATP Dev USA. He served most recently as Chief Development Officer of RATP Dev USA.

“I am thrilled to join the RATP Dev USA team at such a crucial yet exciting time, and I look forward to building off of the great work the team has already accomplished,” Aubin said. “RATP Dev USA understands the future of public transit, and I’m eager to lead the company into its next stage of growth, serving transit authorities across the country during this age of innovation and unlimited potential.”

Aubin and Booterbaugh are based at RATP Dev USA’s corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, Tex.
