PB names Papazoglou senior supervising engineer

Parsons Brinckerhoff has named Christopher Papazoglou a senior supervising engineer in its New York City office, with technical and managerial responsibilities on rail design projects in the New York region. He is currently working in support of the East Side Access project.

Papazoglou has extensive railroad engineering experience. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a senior railroad engineer with a New York engineering firm, responsible for projects involving new track alignment, structural design, traction power, and civil/drainage engineering.

Papazoglou received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College. He is a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Parsons Brinckerhoff is now a unit of Montreal, Canada-based WSP, a global engineering and professional services consulting firm. The combined companies, with 32,000 employees including engineers, technicians, scientists, architects, planners, surveyors, program and construction management professionals and environmental experts, operate more than 500 offices across 39 countries worldwide.
