Mangold joins HNTB as Rail Program Manager

Thomas Mangold has joined HNTB Corp. in the infrastructure-planning firm’s King of Prussia, Pa., office as Rail Program Manager.
Mangold’s career spans more than four decades in the region, and he comes to HNTB from SEPTA, where he was Chief Engineering Officer. He also has experience in strategic planning; overhead contact systems (OCS) inspections, maintenance and construction; and development of standards for design, engineering, OCS training programs and quality control processes. In addition, Mangold has fabricated and installed catenary structures and bridges, served on labor negotiating committees and coordinated communications with commuter and other rail organizations.
