The Nebraska Central Railroad (NCRC) has promoted Julie Greve to Manager of Marketing & Customer Relations. Greve has spent 15 years at the railroad; her assignments have included work with Union Pacific and with train management at every level.

“Julie Greve’s long professional career has been based on a simple strategy: ‘Treat customers how you would want them to treat you,’” NCRC said. “Her customer service skills were accumulated by hands-on experience as a customer service representative. She will also bring her expertise to market development.”

Greve will report to Michael Haeg, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Rio Grand Pacific Corp, NCRC’s parent company. “Her versatility,” says Haeg, “never ceases to surprise me. The industry is in a place where her skill-sets are so much in tune. Julie’s appointment is a well deserved recognition of her abilities.”

“There is something new every day,” Greve said of her new assignment. “I will assist on the revenue side, provide support to the NCRC staff, and participate in the launching of new strategic initiatives for the company.”

Greve, originally from northern Minnesota, has been a resident of Norfolk, Neb., since 1998. She lives there with her husband and two grown sons.

Nebraska Central Railroad Corp is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rio Grande Pacific Corp., which has rail operations in Louisiana, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Texas. The firm has extensive national holdings in commercial real estate, energy, and technology.
