Fort Worth, Texas-based provider of maintenance-of-way equipment and locomotive maintenance solutions DavRail Inc. (DavRail) announced Feb. 8 that it has entered into a strategic partnership with McCulloch Group, granting the company distribution rights for McCulloch’s rail handling and logistics equipment in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
Under the leadership of President Andrew Davis, DavRail says it will “spearhead the national sales program, strategically marketing and supporting McCulloch Group’s industry-changing rail solutions.” With thirty years of “operational excellence,” McCulloch Group introduces a new leasing and purchase model for their “cutting-edge” rail solutions in the American markets through this partnership, according to DavRail, a subsidiary of the Davoil group of companies.
“The appointment of DavRail as our exclusive distributors across North and South America is a key step within our strategic growth plan for the McCulloch Group,” said the Scottish-based company’s directors. “As a family business founded in a small Scottish town by twin brothers more than 30 years ago, we are proud to be transforming the rail infrastructure across the globe with our unique equipment and approach. The relationship with DavRail, and wider Davoil Group, is a development [that] accelerates our international reach to the benefit of the industry worldwide. We are proud to welcome DavRail formally as strategic partners and look forward to a future together.”
DavRail says it believes the partnership with McCulloch Group will “significantly enhance the company’s capabilities.” “McCulloch’s expertise and innovative solutions will empower DavRail to elevate its offerings and ensure delivery of the highest quality products and services to its customers,” the company said.
“The chance to partner with McCulloch Group is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said Davis. “What started as a chance encounter at an industry show has blossomed into a robust relationship with the McCulloch family. Together we intend to change the world, and we’re starting that by showing the Maintenance of Way industry just how efficient and innovative the ‘McCulloch Way’ can be on our side of the Atlantic.”
