CN Again Earns Spot on Canada’s Top Employer List

The Canada’s Top 100 Employers competition, now in its 21st year, evaluates employers across the country that offer exceptional workplaces. The 2021 winners were announced Nov. 13, 2020, in a special magazine published in The Globe and Mail.
CN won recognition for its employee programs and workplace policies. Among them: the employee and pensioner-run Community Fund, which has raised more than $18.5 million since 2010 for Canadian charities; the Employee and Family Assistance Program; and access to telemedicine.
“I am very proud and honoured that CN has, once again, been ranked as one of Canada’s top employers,” Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Dorothea Klein said. “This recognition belongs to every CN railroader who delivers excellent service safely and with great passion. I want to thank them for the important part they play in CN’s continuing success.”
Earlier this year, Mediacorp Canada Inc. also named CN one of Montreal’s Top 100 employers (2020) and one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers (2020, plus the three previous years).
