APTA honors LTK’s Cornell

Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-Chief

The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) has named LTK Engineering Services Director of Business Development Natalie Cornell as 2018 Outstanding Public Transportation Business Member. Cornell was honored at APTA’s Annual Meeting.

Cornell serves as co-chair of APTA’s Procurement Steering Committee, chair of the Business Member Procurement Committee, and vice chair of the Rolling Stock Equipment Technical Forum. She is also a member of the APTA Board of Directors, the Business Member Board of Governors (BMBG), the BMBG Nominating Committee and the Conference Planning Task Force.

“There is nothing that means more than being singled out by your peers for an award like this,” Cornell said. “And there’s nothing more humbling, either. For APTA to work correctly, we all have to work together to come to common ground and to do what’s best for the industry as a whole. I want to thank the APTA staff for all their support and thank all the members who keep us all moving forward.”

“We are very proud of Natalie and her involvement with APTA and other organizations,” said LTK President Dominic DiBrito. “She is a great representative for LTK and a tireless ambassador for the industry.”
