GREX receives ISO 9001:2015 certification
Written by Railway Age StaffGREX, the track inspection and material handling specialist, announced that it is now ISO 9001:2015-certified, the latest version of the ISO 9001 quality management standard.
“We’re so proud of the entire GREX family for supporting this effort and maintaining the highest quality of our products and services,” the Georgetown, Texas company said in a release.
The ISO 9000 standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer’s requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.
The 2015 standard, which is less prescriptive than its predecessors and focuses on performance, is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
