ZTR Control Systems expands to Berlin

ZTR Control Systems will soon be launching a new office in Berlin, Germany, a major European logistics hub, adding to existing facilities in Minneapolis and London, Ontario.
“With the establishment of this new location, ZTR will be better positioned to meet continuously increasing demand from the European rail freight industry,” the company said. “ZTR is supporting the European rail freight industry by delivering innovative solutions for emissions reductions, fuel savings and tractive effort improvements. In the past year alone, ZTR has seen significant demand for these solutions in Europe and the U.K., as freight operators are looking to modernize their fleets to reduce idle time, and improve locomotive reliability and availability, at a fraction of the cost of purchasing new.”
“In Europe, ZTR products, including SmartStart and NEXSYS III-i provide significant value to customers by increasing their locomotive’s dispatchable adhesion, saving fuel, cutting CO2 emissions, and improving starting reliability. This ultimately adds significant life extension to locomotives,” said Matthew Scott, General Manager of the ZTR Rail Division. “Our innovative solutions have made ZTR a key partner for European operators looking to improve locomotive reliability and generate environmental benefits for their fleets.”
ZTR is seeking to immediately hire a locomotive Technical Services Engineer to be based in the new Berlin office.
