Messer Joins AllTranstek Inspection Services

Preston Messer has been appointed Mechanical Inspector at AllTranstek, a North American third-party, non-asset-based rail fleet management provider.

AllTranstek’s Inspection Services department provides pre- and post-lease inspections; new car inspections; wreck inspections; acquisition inspections; drone inspections; protective coatings and lining inspections; estimate reviews and approvals; lease reviews; and JIC reviews.

Based in Singer, La., Messer will help the firm cover the Louisiana and southern Texas areas. He has 12 years of management and training experience, and is skilled in cleaning, coating, testing, and contract shop processes. Messer served most recently as Plant Manager of Eagle Rail Services in Channelview, Tex.

“His experience auditing; re-certifying facilities; NDT Level II Certification; and training employees in AWS 15.1 and M-1002 Appendix W in GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes is valuable to AllTranstek, and we want to pass that value on to our customers,” AllTranstek President Jeff Wilson said. “Preston understands the importance of high-quality customer service and that is what we strive to provide to all our customers.”
