Toyota honors Road & Rail Services

Road & Rail Services, Inc., a provider of third party logistics in North America, was recently honored with a service award from Toyota.

Road & Rail garnered the Toyota Logistics Services Kaizen Award for Logistics Excellence for 2017.

Receiving the award on behalf of Road & Rail Services, Inc., was Kevin Brandon, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Robert Sadler, Vice President – Customer Service.

The 3PL Kaizen Award was presented to Road & Rail Services on March 27 at Toyota’s corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas. Earning this award demonstrates the successful collaboration between Toyota Logistics Services (TLS) and Road & Rail Services, Inc., which improved railcar and vehicle velocity performance with a cost avoidance.

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Louisville, Road & Rail Services is a provider of rail-related services to railroads, rail shippers, and railcar owners. It has operations in 18 states with services that enhance operating velocity and asset condition within the automotive, aggregate, coal/utility, intermodal, paper, and steel/metals industries.
