Jaguar Transport Holdings is adding Oklahoma Central Rail Park to its operations, which also include West Memphis Transload in Arkansas, Marion Industrial Rail Park in Ohio, and six short line railroads.

Jaguar Transport Holdings will begin operating Haskell Lemon Construction’s rail park facility in El Reno, Okla., on Jan. 1, 2022.

The companies announced their agreement for the 200-acre Oklahoma Central Rail Park (OKCRP) on Nov. 11. OKCRP is the third rail park operation for Joplin, Mo.-based Jaguar, which also runs West Memphis Transload in Arkansas and Marion Industrial Rail Park in Ohio, plus six short line railroads.

OKCRP, which is less than two miles from I-40, links with Union Pacific. It offers unit train capacity, two transload tracks, truck scales, and 10 2,000-pound silos, as well as outdoor lay-down space and developable acreage.

Halliburton was the most recent operator of OKCRP, which was built to offload sand used for hydraulic fracturing throughout the Anadarko Basin, according to Jaguar.

Jaguar said it plans to use the existing infrastructure and build out new infrastructure, as needed, to meet customer requirements. When fully operational, the facility will be able to handle agricultural, bulk and petroleum products; frac sand; lumber; aggregate; and other commodities, the company reported.

“The Oklahoma Central Rail Park is going to open up numerous opportunities to serve customers looking for easy access to Oklahoma City and the region,” said Tim Enayati, Senior Vice President of Commercial and Industrial Development for Jaguar.
