Texas Rock Crusher Railway (TXR), a subsidiary of Texas-based privately held short line and logistics centers operator TNW Corporation, celebrated its 25th anniversary on Tuesday, March 28.

The celebration was held at the Lehnis Railroad Museum in TXR’s hometown of Brownwood, Tex., with a barbecue lunch made by employees of the railroad. Local leaders and customers, as well as corporate leadership and TXR staff were in attendance.

TXR was founded in March 1998 with a vision to “transform the then-neglected infrastructure into a long-term investment and expansion that has created jobs and industrial growth in the Brownwood area,” according to TNW Corporation.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to safely serve the Brownwood community over the last 25 years and looking forward to the next 25,” said TXR Director of Business Support and Development Joey Evans at the celebration. Evans then went on to thank TXR customers, community and elected leaders, and employees, noting their outstanding safety record of having more than six years without an injury.
