TNW Corp. and The Andersons Rail Group have teamed to offer more comprehensive railcar service on the Texas North Western Railway (TXNW) in Sunray, Tex.

Denver-based OmniTRAX is linking with customers interested in locating in northeast Ohio; TNW Corp., a Dallas, Tex.-based operator of short lines and logistics centers, has expanded its railcar service offerings in partnership with The Andersons Rail Group.

Through its Rail-Ready Sites program, OmniTRAX, an affiliate of The Broe Group, is partnering with Team NEO to market four properties along its 35-mile Cleveland and Cuyahoga Railroad (CCRL), based in Marcelline Yard, Ohio.

The properties include two parcels of more than 40 acres of greenfield space and two rail-served facilities totaling 254,000 square feet on the CCRL, which offers transload and multimodal options with connections to Norfolk Southern (NS) and Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway.

The project complements JobsOhio’s SiteOhio and NEO RightSites initiatives, according to OmniTrax.

“Together with our partners at Team NEO, we are committed to bringing quality new manufacturers to northeast Ohio,” OmniTRAX Vice President of Industrial Development Ean Johnson said.

TNW Corp. and The Andersons Rail Group have teamed to offer more comprehensive railcar service on the Texas North Western Railway (TXNW) in Sunray, Tex., including railcar cleaning and flaring, tank car and hopper repair, and railcar storage (11,000-car capacity).

According to TNW, the full-service railcar repair shop will “provide general AAR and FRA repairs, as well as HM-216 Tank Car Qualification and will carry an M-1002 Certification.”

“TNW and The Andersons understand the importance for shippers and leasing companies who are looking to combine railcar cleaning, repairs and storage in one location to effectively manage their fleet,” TNW Vice President of Marketing and Sales Wade Hoffmann said. “The partnership with The Andersons elevates the level of service we will provide to our customers.”

“Investments into the repair infrastructure on TXNW allow us to provide a full suite of tank car repair services, including tank car certifications,” said Sam Anderson, Vice President of The Andersons Rail Group. “The shop is adjacent to the TXNW storage yard, and we believe the geographical location, Class I connection [with BNSF], and strong partnership with TNW Corp. will add significant value to our customers.”
