New Hires for Chicago South Shore, Broe Real Estate Group

At the Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad, Anthony S. Kazakevicius takes over as Director of Sales and Marketing.
The Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad (CSS), an Anacostia Rail Holdings Co. subsidiary, has appointed a new sales and marketing director, and Broe Real Estate Group (BREG) has announced new national industrial team assignments.
After 14 years of work in marketing and business development at Indiana Harbor Belt, Anthony S. Kazakevicius has moved to CSS as Director of Sales and Marketing, replacing Greg Dougherty. “Tony is bringing more than 20 years of diverse rail marketing experience to the South Shore,” said Eric Jakubowski, Anacostia’s Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. “His solid understanding of Midwest customers and commodities will help CSS grow its business base.”
BREG has named Sean Fitzsimmons Senior Vice President for the East Region of its expanded industrial development group. The region includes the Savannah (Georgia) Gateway Industrial Hub, which will welcome its first tenant, A&R Logistics, this fall. BREG promoted Dean Brown to Senior Vice President for the West Region, including the Great Western Industrial Park in Colorado. BREG and OmniTRAX are affiliates of The Broe Group, which is based in Denver and includes a portfolio of real estate, transportation, energy and investment assets that span North America.
