Ludwig heads Customer Service at RBMN

Reading and Northern Railroad has appointed Susan Ludwig as Vice President Customer Service, oversee all RBMN Customer Service Managers and all business including Anthracite Coal, Forest Products and General Merchandise for more than 70 customers. Ludwig reports directly to RBMN President Wayne A. Michel.

Ludwig joined RBMN in October 2011 as a Customer Service Manager. She came to the railroad with a background in customer service and accounting for an e-commerce company and the Fleetwood, Pa., Public Library. She was promoted to Director of Customer Service in 2013 and served as the primary account representative for Plastics and Chemicals. In June 2016, Ludwig was promoted to AVP of Customer Service, in charge of the General Merchandise Customer Service Managers for all of the Forest Products and General Merchandise accounts.

“Susan has done an excellent job working with our customers since joining the railroad,” Michel said. “Taking care of the customer at Reading & Northern is Job 1 and we are fortunate to have Susan running our Customer Service Department. Reading & Northern is committed to excellent service, evident by our 99% on-time rate for our scheduled railroad, and going the extra mile, literally, for our customers.”

Ludwig lives in Fleetwood with husband David and son Tyler.
