TekTracking recently announced that it has appointed Joe Denny as Chief Technology Officer.

In the role, Denny aims to guide the development team in the launch of TekTracking’ s Signal Light Monitor (SLM) and its cloud-based Linear Asset Management Platform (LAMP). As CTO, he’ll focus on new product development, product strategy and customer discovery, the railway technology sales and product development firm noted.

Denny has more than 30 years of product development and business leadership experience focused on transportation and technology markets. He’s the Founder and CEO of IP Prime Mover, a technology development company. He was previously Co-founder and CEO of Railcomm; prior, he was the Technical Director of Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) Systems at General Railway Signal—now Alstom. He started his career as a member of the technical staff at Hughes Aircraft Company.

“We have made substantial investment in several new product development initiatives supporting our Linear Asset Management strategy,” said Greg Fogarty, CEO, TekTracking. “Joe has a proven history of creating new products focused on complex railroad challenges, and he will ensure our investments produce important products exceeding our customer’s expectations. I am excited that Joe has taken on this role and I look forward to working closely with him.”
