Coy Beaman (Advanced Rail Systems)

Advanced Rail Systems is deeply saddened to report the sudden passing of its founder and CEO, Coy Beaman.

Beaman was a second-generation railroader with more than 40 years in the industry. He started his career as a Signal Maintainer on the Southern Pacific. After a brief stint of commercial fishing in Alaska, Beaman resumed his railroad career. His first entrepreneurial challenge was jointly forming RailComm. He also started Global Rail Systems, which was purchased by a foreign entity, and he then put together the team at Advanced Rail Systems, with headquarters in Kosse, Tex.

Beaman will be forever remembered for his vision and determination, his ability to identify and solve problems, and his support of those less fortunate. He is survived by his wife, Mona; daughter, Ann, son-in-law Jimmie, granddaughter Alyssa, and grandson Trey; son Joshua and daughter-in-law Britney; and son Aaron, daughter-in-law Taylor and grandson Maverick.
