UP Taps Miller as VP, Treasurer
Written by Marybeth Luczak, Executive EditorMichael Miller, a 28-year Union Pacific (UP) veteran, has been appointed Vice President and Treasurer, effective Feb. 1, 2022, succeeding Gary Grosz.
Grosz is retiring on March 1 after nearly 40 years at UP. Before being promoted to Vice President and Treasurer in April 2019, he served for almost 20 years as Assistant Vice President-Corporate Finance and Assistant Treasurer, the roles Miller currently holds.
Miller has worked for the Class I railroad in numerous Finance positions, including in Budgeting, Business Development and Planning, Corporate Audit, Cost and Profit Management, and Investor Relations.
