Road & Rail Services receives AAR award

The Association of American Railroads awarded third-party logistics provider Road & Rail Services Inc. an Automotive Quality Excellence Award at the AAR Damage Prevention and Freight Claims Conference in Nashville on July 10.

Road & Rail Services received a Highest Quality Review Score for Origin Facilities, based on its partnership with customer Total Distribution Services Inc. The company’s Talladega location is the recipient of this award in consecutive years, and is the only location ever to do so, with an aggregate scoring of 99.03% and 99.72% in 2018 and 2017, respectively.

Established in 1987, Road & Rail Services is a provider of rail related services to railroads, rail shipper, and rail equipment owners with operations in 18 states within the automotive, aggregate, coal/utility, chemical, agriculture, intermodal, paper, and steel/metals industries.
