Canadian Pacific (CP) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Canadian Signals and Communications System Council No. 11 reported reaching a new tentative five-year collective agreement.

The agreement is subject to union member ratification. IBEW represents 360 signal maintainers at CP in Canada.

“This tentative collective agreement is the result of hard work and good faith negotiating between the IBEW and CP,” said CP President and CEO Keith Creel, Railway Age’s 2021 Railroader of the Year. “We look forward to its ratification and to five years of continued growth and opportunity with these employees.”
