Keasling joins RGCX

Rail industry veteran Mike Keasling has joined Marietta, Ga.-based railcar leasing company RGCX as Vice Presiden, Sales & Marketing. Based in Chicago, he will take on a national role “focused on deepening existing and developing new client relationships across the industry,” the company said in announcing his appointment.

Keasling has more than 30 years of experience in the railcar leasing industry. He spent much of his career at CIT as Senior Vice President of Rail Leasing, and has also worked with GATX, GE Rail, ARL, US Bank and most recently CAI in various leadership roles. He has a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s Darden Executive Management Program.

“I’m very pleased to welcome a railcar leasing professional of Mike’s caliber to help us further expand our customer relationships and grow our portfolio,” said RGCX President Nick Tupper. “Mike’s understanding of the rail market and long-term industry relationships will be great additions to the company.”

RGCX is a privately held railcar leasing company with a diversified fleet of railcars that operate throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. RGCX offers customers a variety of lease structures and leverages an inhouse railcar management system to manage its fleet. The company is wholly owned by Charlotte, N.C.-based Corrum Capital Management.
