NEARS Spring Conference 2023

The North East Association of Rail Shippers is headquartered in the Boston area. Its membership territory covers the Maritime Provinces plus Ontario and Quebec and the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont, plus the District of Columbia.

NEARS is one of 5 regional organizations under the umbrella of the North American Rail Shippers Association (NARS). The other regional associations are: the Southeast Association of Rail Shippers (SEARS), Midwest Association of Rail Shippers (MARS), Southwest Association of Rail Shippers (SWARS) and the Pacific Northwest Association of Rail Shippers (PNWARS). Together, we represent all the shippers and professionals in the rail industry in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

NEARS holds conferences in the spring and fall.
