APTA 2019 Legislative Conference

The Legislative Conference is an opportunity for public transportation industry professionals across the nation to make our presence felt and our voices heard in Washington, DC. The Conference educates members on important federal legislation and policy initiatives; provides members with the opportunity to shape the industry’s policies and federal advocacy agenda; offers sessions with key Members of Congress, Administration officials, Congressional staff, and Washington opinion makers; and provides you with the tools that you need to advocate effectively on Capitol Hill. Following the midterm elections, it is critical to build relationships with the scores of new Members of Congress coming to Washington and strengthen our relationships with returning Members. A bipartisan infrastructure initiative that significantly increases investment is the talk of the new Congress, and we need to be well positioned to capitalize on opportunities, overcome challenges and advance our agenda of increased mobility and economic opportunities for all Americans.
