Trainyard Tech, LLC has completed the installation of its CLASSMASTER™ hump yard process control system at CSX’s 56-classification-track Radnor Yard in Nashville, Tenn.

Radnor Yard now has Trainyard Tech’s new OSX™ technology, which uses wheel detectors to determine switch and track occupancy, “providing the data necessary for maintaining a high-performance yard,” the company said. “TyTReporter™, a sophisticated railyard reporting tool, offers a full complement of calibration and performance statistics and analysis. Reports are customizable by all levels of Radnor users to simplify troubleshooting, analyze yard trends and review up-to-the minute historical performance. Drilling down to gather information about an individual railcar or yard device is quick and simple. CSX will realize increased throughput, safety and user-friendly control and reporting.”

The CLASSMASTER™ system, Trainyard Tech noted, “features auto calibration, graphic playback, easily readable loggers, real-time hump list display, eBlock™ electronic track blocking, automatic report generation, AEI integration and list verification, I/O redundancy, hot standby operation and remote diagnostics. Automatic calibration quickly delivers the highest levels of accuracy.”
