Fairport, N.Y.-based RailComm said Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2014 it has upgraded the current Domain Operations Controller (DOC®) system in a Fort Worth, Tex., rail yard to include RailComm's Blue Flag Indicator (BFI) System.

The RailComm BFI System allows a user to apply blue flag protection to the trim yard and control 14 derails on 7 different tracks. The BFIs are positioned in pairs at different locations along the track.
