Joint venture readies signal training school

Herzog Technologies, Inc. and Signal Training Solutions, Inc., announced Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, they are partners backing a new Signal Training School in Oceanside, Calif.

The new facility will open on Nov. 1.

“Herzog Technologies’ (HTI) new spacious facility and partnership with Signal Training Solutions (STS) reflects HTI’s commitment to outstanding customer service and strengthens the company’s position to provide innovative technology-based solutions to the railroad Signal and Communications industry,” Herzog said in a statement, adding, “STS is a dedicated signal training school that provides a wide variety of industry accepted and labor endorsed comprehensive signal training programs. “

Herzog Technologies said the facility will allow the partners “to leverage each company’s strengths and expertise to address customer’s immediate and future training requirements. The partnership not only enables HTI to offer its customers Positive Train Control (PTC) integration solutions and PTC Data Acquisition services, but also PTC Compliance Training.”
