Higginbotham heading transit and mobility for Cambridge Systematics

Cambridge Systematics announced that Herbert Higginbotham has joined the firm as head of its Transit and Shared Mobility Practice.

“Public transit is changing and evolving more than ever. Transportation agencies face a multitude of challenges and yet there are many opportunities when it comes to managing their assets more effectively, evolving their service delivery strategies and determining how to best leverage technology,” said Brad Wright, chief executive and president of CS, headquartered in Medford, Mass.. “We’re excited to have Herbert join our firm in the new role of Transit and Shared Mobility National Practice Lead to help our clients prepare for the uncertainty of these changes and in the interest of increasing mobility, safety and livability in the communities 
they serve.”

Higginbotham has about 20 years of experience leading public transportation projects, most recently as Regional Transportation Lead at Accenture, and he brings a deep understanding of smart mobility, transit asset management and strategic transformation. He will focus on service and operations planning, capital projects, asset management, fare management, technology innovation and organizational strategy.
