A triad of U.S. HSR interests makes its move, upsetting some preconceived conventional wisdom involving the nation’s passenger rail outlook.

PS Technology (PST), a wholly owned subsidiary of Union Pacific Corp., on Monday announced it has acquired the Yard Control Systems division of Ansaldo STS USA.

Ansaldo STS said Wednesday that as part of its ongoing re-organization, it had named Thomas P. Lawton president and CEO of Ansaldo STS USA, succeeding Dr. Alan E. Calegari.
