Ottawa has posted a tender for a consultant to monitor six new diesel multiple-unit (DMU) Caradia Lint trainsets being built by Alstom. The trains, being built in Germany, originally were to be delivered next May, but now are scheduled for delivery in 2014.
The five-mile line, which opened in October 2001, currently is served by three Bombardier Talent DMUs.
