The event, sponsored by High Speed Rail Canada, a citizens group, features Railway Age Contributing Editor Greg Gormick as the keynote speaker. In a statement, Paul Langan, founder of High Speed Rail Canada, noted, "Greg Gormick is probably the most knowledgeable person on passenger rail in Canada."

Langan said other speakers include Ashley Langford, customer director and vice president transportation, Alstom Canada, and Mario Péloquin, director at Siemens Canada Ltd. “Participants will have access to a wealth of information on high speed rail,” Langford said.
