Southern California’s North County Transit District, which operates the Oceanside-San Diego Coaster commuter rail service, Oceanside-Escondido Sprinter diesel light rail, and Breeze buses, is honoring members of the U.S. military—active duty, veterans, and their dependents—from Nov. 9-12 by providing free transportation “to express the District’s gratitude to our local armed forces for their service to our country and the community.”

NCTD has wrapped an entire Coaster Bombardier bilevel coach in a military theme. It’s operating on 28 trips through Nov. 12, and will remain in its special scheme for a one-year period.
