On those days, six trips will bring passengers to Union Station in Toronto, two will originate at Allandale Waterfront GO Station, the line's northern terminus, making all stops, and four will originate at East Gwillimbury GO Station, also making all stops. The six northbound trips will depart Union Station with two trips making all stops to Allandale Waterfront and four trips making all stops to East Gwillimbury.

GO buses will meet the East Gwillimbury trains and make all stops to and from the Barrie Bus Terminal, aiding intermodal options.

"This weekend pilot moves GO further in the direction of serving a larger, non-commuter market and supports the economy, regional tourism and the communities along the Barrie rail corridor," said GO Transit President Gary McNeil.
