Fox to succeed Lampe as South Shore chief

The Chicago South Shore & South Bend announced Monday that President and CEO Henry Lampe will retire at the end of October and will be succeeded by Andrew Fox, managing director of Pacific Harbor Line and former PHL president. Lampe will assume his new duties Sept.1.

Lampe, CSS president since 2005, joined the railroad after 35 years with the Santa Fe and BNSF. He will continue as a member of the management committee.

Fox joined PHL following 22 years with with Southern Pacific, where he held posts in the operating, finance and executive departments.
